My Opinions

This site is for information purposes only, based on my own personal experience and research. In case I have not made it obvious already, the claims on this website, of people listed as having Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or having been awarded the ISAP Award are my opinions only. IMHO stands for “In My Humble Opinion”. It is also my opinion that Depression, Bipolar Disorder and many other mental health conditions mentioned on this site are varieties of the same condition; Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

I am not a medical doctor nor a healthcare professional, and I am not legally qualified to officially diagnose anyone with any condition. Some of the people listed on this website as having ASD have been officially diagnosed by doctors. Some are thought by other publishers (which will be referenced) to be on the autistic spectrum, and some have no indication from other sources that they have any Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Some people mentioned on this site as having ASD characteristics might not be on the autistic spectrum at all.

Readers are advised to seek additional information from different sources before making an informed decision about whether to obtain an official diagnosis from a qualified healthcare professional.

This site is meant to be an informal non-academic resource. I will however try whenever possible, to reference material and to give links to articles, videos, book titles and authors, etc. I am also dyslexic and have to proofread everything several times before publishing. Please forgive any typos that I have overlooked.

I am also a Brit, so if I were to type; “I travelled through colourful scenery, and my least favourite part of the trip was the villa that smelt of mould” – please rest assured that the sentence is spelt correctly where I come from.
